Sdao’s a low-slot, projectable lefty that’s already been up to 97, and has sat in the mid-90s with the fastball. The shape here is good, not great, as he’s getting 17.5” of carry with 8” of horizontal break. He’s got a sweeper at 81 mph that gets 10.2” of sweep and 5.4” of lift. His third pitch is change-up in the mid-80s with 13” of arm-side run, which has been a solid offering for him. Unfortunately, Sdao went down with an elbow injury this fall that required Tommy John surgery and will not pitch for the Aggies this spring.

Prager profiles very similarly to his teammate Myles Patton. Same height and weight, same pitch mix, and similar pitch shapes. Prager averaged 89 mph on his fastball with 22” of vertical break on his fastball, and threw both his change-up and slider >20% of the time. He was selected 81st overall in 2024 by the Angels, but chose to return to A&M.

Patton is another projectable, lower velocity LHP with great fastball shape, but is still in need of a velocity bump. He gets 20” of carry at 89 mph on average, topping at 93 mph. He doesn’t have a big breaking ball shape, getting short shapes on a curveball and a slider, but has a solid feel for both. He throws a mid-80s change-up with 15” of arm-side as well.

Chris Hacopian is one of the most polished hitters in the 2026 class, standing out for his elite strike-zone judgment and advanced feel for the barrel. His swing may look busy, but it’s consistently on time, producing hard contact to all fields and rarely misses against fastballs. Hacopian provides one of the safest hit tools in the draft. Although his defensive home remains fluid, the bat is the carrying tool. Even with minimal power gains in the future, Hacopian profiles as an impact offensive piece whose value will be driven by on-base ability and contact quality at the next level.

Laviolette is a 60 runner who played CF for the Aggies in 2024 at a league average level, and will get a chance to play CF in pro-ball but likely lands in the corner-OF when it’s all said and done. 6’ 6” 230 is tough to project in the OF, but he’s got the athleticism to make it work. The offensive profile is well rounded with thump and feel to hit. It’s average barrel accuracy, but his max EV was 115.7 mph, his 90th EV was 109 mph and he had a 65% HH rate to match a 95.5 mph average EV. The swing plane is geared to loft, reflected in a 22.6 degree average LA and 28.8 on his HH balls. There’s plus swing decisions here, a 47.8% Z-Swing-Chase% and swing rate <40% are both encouraging. Bat-to-ball skills skew towards the wrong side of average, his 20% in-zone swing is elevated, and a 27.3% whiff rate is slightly suppressed. There are near-40% whiffs on pitches 92 mph or harder up in the zone which will become a factor at some point.

Caden Sorrell broke out as a freshman on Texas A&M’s 2024 College World Series runner-up club and has remained a high-impact bat when on the field. Limited to just 26 games in 2025 due to injury, he still showed elite power output, launching 12 home runs on the back of plus bat speed and real raw strength. The offensive risk centers on a launch-first swing that can get long, leading to elevated in-zone fastball miss rates, particularly against velocity (25% IZ whiff on 93+ mph). The whiff concerns will be the key adjustment point as he moves forward. When healthy, Sorrell is a plus runner with defensive versatility, possessing the instincts to handle center field and the arm strength to profile anywhere across the outfield.

Gavin Grahovac, a 6'2" 220-pound third baseman from Texas A&M, enters 2026 looking to prove he's fully recovered from left shoulder surgery that limited him to just six games in 2025. The junior possesses elite bat speed and plus-plus raw power that translates to an impressive 108.7 mph 90th percentile exit velocity and a 21.4% barrel rate, with the ability to drive the ball to all fields. However, his aggressive approach remains a concern, as he had the tendency to chase breaking balls. Grahovac's solid arm strength fits the hot corner, though defensive inconsistencies may eventually push him to a corner outfield spot where his power bat would still profile well. If he can harness his massive power potential while improving his plate discipline, he has the upside to be an impact middle-of-the-order run producer.

Lamkin is my favorite of the A&M left handed pitchers. He’s sitting 92 mph with 18” of carry from a high slot, but te pitch is playing well. His slider is more of a cutter, with 4.5” of carry and 1” of cut, drawing 45% whiffs. He could do a better job killing vertical on his change-up, but gets 17.5” of arm-side run. The command is outstanding, with nearly 90% of his pitching being in a competitive location.

Results have lagged here in 2025, but the hit tool, metrically speaking, is top-end with a <10% in-zone whiff and both the whiff and chase numbers being <25%. The max EV is 107.4 mph, below average power, but there's feel for loft and a well rounded LA profile despite some EV and LA variance.
