Sawyer Strosnider is one of the more dynamic players in the ’26 class, coming off a season where he became just the sixth DI player in 25 years to post double-digit homers, triples, doubles, and steals. The left-handed swing is loose and powerful with consistent in-zone contact, giving him real impact upside when he’s on time, but the offensive profile still hinges on making better swing decisions, particularly against left-handed breaking balls. He’s a quick-twitch, plus runner at 6’2”, 200, with the athleticism to stick in center field long term despite logging most of his college reps in right. Add in plus arm strength and the overall package points to a high-ceiling outfielder whose draft value will rise with improved pitch selection and platoon performance.

Silva was a highly regarded freshman last season and got better as the year went on. He's a lock to stay at short and has plus athleticism with smooth and easy actions. He lacks definitive power and thump, but his bat-to-ball skills are above-average and he has enough barrel accuracy to run solid BABIPs which should drive his production alongside average bat speed. He'll be a solid average regular in the show.

Tommy LaPour is an underrated power arm in the 2026 class, with one of the most physical builds and loudest raw stuff on the board. He operates comfortably in the mid-to-upper 90s, touching 100, and has shown the ability to deploy both a four-seam and sinker, a trait that aligns well with the league’s growing two-fastball trend. His mid-80s slider flashes plus potential but still needs command refinement and more consistent usage in leverage counts. His upper-80s changeup shows above-average feel despite an average underlying shape. Given the quality of the arsenal, evaluators expect a higher strikeout rate than he posted in 2025, making pitch usage and sequencing a key development point. Built like a NFL fullback, LaPour carries some reliever risk, but a fall focused on arsenal refinement and usage adjustments could set him up for a true breakout spring.

Chase Brunson profiles as a high-floor bat with steady all-around impact, both offensively and defensively. He stepped on campus at TCU as an immediate starter and has only trended up, most notably jumping from three home runs as a freshman to twelve as a sophomore, pointing to real offensive growth. While no single tool overwhelms, Brunson consistently finds barrels with an aggressive, gap-to-gap approach, and his 6'3", 200-pound frame paired with high-end exit velocities suggests more power is still coming. Defensively, he brings average speed with plus instincts in center field, with a clean fallback to an above-average right fielder at the next level.

Silva’s shortstop defense is plus and a carrying tool in a vacuum. He’s got great instincts and lateral quickness, but the arm is average. I have the hit tool graded as above-average, he rarely whiffs (13.6% in-zone, 20.5% overall) and makes quality swing decisions. The power ticked up in 2024, 110.3 mph Max EV, but he’s struggled to get to it. There’s a world in which you have an above-average offensive producer and true everyday SS, which is a great profile to have in your organization.

Abeldt throws from a horizontal slot, releasing the ball with a 5.1’ release height and 4.7’ release side. He throws 70% fastball and works in the mid 90s with the pitch. The slider is a draw, a low-80 pitch with 5” of sweep, 42.4% whiff and 31.9% chase. His cross-fire release creates a 98th percentile SL HAA at 6.16 degrees, maximizing the angle to his glove-side. The change-up shape is great, with 14.2” of arm-side and minimal vertical break.

Tolle lacks the traits to be a solid pitcher, but he has plus bat speed and nearly hit a ball 120 mph last year. It's easy power, but he doesn't always get to his power in games due to well below-average bat-to-ball skills. He's been a touch better than average as a college hitter in his career which isn't good enough at 1B. His tools as a sophomore were similar to Ivan Melendez's as a junior. But he'll need to make major improvements with his decisions and barrel accuracy to make the same jump Ivan did in his senior year.

Parker missed his sophomore season with an injury, He was a highly regarded pitcher out of high school and pitched a lot for the Horned Frogs as a freshman. His heater is well below-average with a generic shape that lacks run or ride, and he's usually only 89-93 with it. His slider has sweep at 78-82, and his curveball is solid in the mid-70s, but neither has the quality to get big league hitters out anytime soon. His changeup has the most potential of his arsenal, and he's been up to 95 in the past. He has the size to gain some ticks and could be a notable prospect once again this draft.
